Students from Cours St. Charles, Orléans, France will be visiting Joel Barlow & Ludlowe High Schools just after our spring vacation from April 22 - April 29, 2013! The students range in age from 14 -16 years old and are quite proficient in English. We are looking for about 15 host families in each school willing to host these students.
Are you worried that other commitments might interfere with your hosting duties? It’s important to be aware of the following:
The French students will spend 2 days “shadowing” their JBHS/FLHS host student. In the past, French students have been fascinated by every aspect of the American high school experience including practices after school.
They will also make several field trips to NYC with their group. Typically, they leave early in the morning and return around 7:00 pm.
They enjoy talking with younger siblings and Moms & Dads, and watching American television!
They also need time to keep their journals and complete projects.
